Ok 613 version runs on my snow leopard but doesnt find mi usb stick. The build doesn't error out anymore and the program starts, but it won't make a bootable usb correctly, while the 613 version, that does work, does manage to do that, weird. Installing qt 4.8.7 from the qt website and using the 625 source and changing i386 to x86_64 in the build-mac file.ĮDIT 4: The version I manged to compile doesn't work correctly. I have tried every combination and the only combination that worked was the one from above. Either that or a x86_64 compiled version of the qt4-mac folder should be provided.ĮDIT 2: I understand that the whole i386 thing is done on purpose to ensure compatibility for macOS 10.6 and higher, but it's not a good thing when users want to compile this on their own :)ĮDIT 3: I thought I was being an idiot because the qt4-package that is being provided is indeed x86, but it needs to be x86_64 in order to work. The build-mac file and the qmake-mac file should be changed so that building on x86_64 systems is possible. So making this obligatory for every user is not a good practice. In any case, the provided qt4-mac doesn't work, if you want to build on systems that are 10.7 or higher. is there any way you could fix this?ĮDIT: managed to build the 625 source by changing every instance of i386 to x86_64 in the build-mac file and installing the right qt4 package from their website. The qt4 files you distribute on the wiki page about building were built for the i386 architecture and the architecture for more modern Mac systems is x86_64.
